The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, the world’s most exclusive gourmet association, has always been very popular in Thailand. Famous people from Europe who live here highly value the association, which offers many culinary highlights.
This was also the case on Saturday evening in Bangkok, when the annual gala evening for members in Thailand took place in the magnificent new Dusit Thani Hotel. Only 23 000 members worldwide have been admitted to the Chaîne so far, a very exclusive event.
The host on Saturday evening was the General Manager of the Dusit Thani Hotel, the Swiss Adrian Rudin, one of the best in the industry worldwide. Many familiar faces were seen, and above all, the members of the Chaîne Eastern Seaboard from Pattaya were very well represented. Celebrities such as Felix Riva, Nandor von der Luehe, and Ray Whitley were seen along with other guests from Pattaya.
The dinner was all about Italian cuisine and offered the opportunity to enjoy the most exclusive wines from bella Italia.
New and old members stayed together until late, impressively demonstrating that the connections extend far beyond the culinary arts. A positive sign in these turbulent times we are currently experiencing in the world.
The Chaine des Rotisseurs was founded in 1248 and remains a symbol of the joy of life to this day.
