The southern provinces of Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat are the only areas spared from the severe weather conditions.
According to the TMD, the heavy rainfall is driven by a strong monsoon trough passing through the northern and central regions, coupled with a low-pressure system influencing the Andaman Sea. This has resulted in widespread thunderstorms and torrential rains, particularly affecting urban centers like Bangkok, where drainage systems are already under strain. The department forecasts that some areas could see rainfall accumulation exceeding 100 millimeters, raising concerns about urban flooding, landslides, and overflowing rivers.

Motorists in Bangkok and surrounding provinces have been cautioned about hazardous road conditions, while farmers in rural areas are advised to protect crops and livestock from potential inundation.
