Pattaya Prepares for Rally Sailboat Festival Thailand Grand Year 2025 This Weekend on Jomtien Beach

PATTAYA, Thailand – On the afternoon of May 14th, 2025, Pattaya City held a preparatory meeting for the upcoming “Rally Sailboat Festival Thailand Grand Year 2025” at City Hall’s Meeting Room 242.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Wutthitorn Saengurai, a member of the Pattaya City Council, on behalf of Mayor Poramese Ngampichet. Attendees included Pattaya City executives, Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization members, government department heads, and representatives from the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand and the Chonburi Chamber of Commerce.

Scheduled for May 17-18, 2025, at Jomtien Beach, Chonburi, by the water sports area near Soi 5, the festival is a collaborative effort between Pattaya City’s Tourism and Sports Department, the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand, and the Chonburi Chamber of Commerce. The event aims to boost tourism, elevate Pattaya’s image as a Sports City, and promote sports tourism, while stimulating the local and national economy.
The meeting focused on competition logistics, including race routes and distances, as well as side activities for attendees. Discussions also covered practical arrangements such as traffic management, security, parking, cleanliness, and mobile restrooms. Relevant agencies will conduct a site visit to ensure the appropriate use of the event space.

The “Rally Sailboat Festival Thailand Grand Year 2025” is expected to enhance Pattaya’s reputation as a premier destination for sports and tourism, drawing visitors to Chonburi and contributing to Thailand’s tourism industry.

The event will essentially be held all day over the weekend during daylight hours and exact schedules for races and events will be available on-site. The location of the main stage and food vendors is by the Dvaree hotel past Yaimak market on Jomtien Beach.
