  1. A 51-year-old Australian man, identified as Mr. Nathan James Webber, was arrested on May 22nd, 2025, for damaging a rescue booth operated by the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation in Pattaya.

Further checks revealed that Webber had overstayed his visa by 343 days.

2. A violent altercation at a Chinese restaurant in Pattaya left one man injured in the early hours of May 26th, 2025.

3. Phuket International Airport was thrown into chaos on Friday (May 24th) when a Thai passenger falsely claimed there was a bomb onboard a flight.

4. The Appeal Court Region 8 has overturned a lower court ruling, sentencing Swiss national David, the owner of an elephant camp in Phuket, to one month in prison without suspension.

He did not appear in court for the ruling, and reports indicate that he may have fled the country to evade incarceration.

5. The Supreme Court of Thailand has sentenced renowned rock musician Sek Loso, whose real name is Seksan Sukpimai, to two years, twelve months, and twenty days in prison.

On December 31st, 2017, Thai rock musician Seksan Sukpimai, known as Sek Loso, was arrested at his home in Bangkok’s Bang Khen district following a series of events that began with him firing a 9mm pistol into the air at Wat Khao Khun Phanom in Nakhon Si Thammarat on December 30, 2017, after a concert.

6. A police helicopter crashed in Koh Lak, Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan at approximately 1:00 P.M. on Saturday (May 24th), 2025, resulting in the deaths of three officers onboard.
