Pattaya and Sattahip Prepare to Host THAILAND MASTERS 2025 Senior Football Tournament Next Week

PATTAYA, Thailand (May 15, 2025) – Pattaya Mayor Poramese Ngampichet welcomed Mr. Thawit Singhaplot, Vice President of the Thai Senior Football Association, along with association executives, at Pattaya City Hall’s Meeting Room 131. The meeting focused on preparations for hosting the “THAILAND MASTERS 2025” international senior football tournament, scheduled for May 26-30, 2025, at the Royal Navy Sports Field in Sattahip.

The tournament, aimed at promoting sports tourism and the sports industry, will feature two age categories: 50+ and 55-60 years. Teams will compete in a group stage, with the top performers advancing to the finals based on head-to-head results and goal differences.

THAILAND MASTERS 2025 will see participation from 10 nations: Thailand, England, Australia, Iran, New Zealand, Taiwan, Uruguay, the United States, Vietnam, and Hong Kong. The event is expected to draw a big number of athletes, their families, and supporters, many of whom will stay in Pattaya, boosting the local economy and enhancing the city’s reputation as a global tourism and sports destination.

A highlight of the promotional activities will be a parade of over 150 Harley Davidson motorcycles, starting from the Royal Navy Sports Field in Sattahip and proceeding through Pattaya via Sukhumvit Road. The procession will pause at Pattaya City Hall around 1:00 PM for a photo opportunity before continuing to Bangsaen. The exact day and time of the parade will be announced soon.

Pattaya City apologizes for any traffic inconveniences caused by the event and invites residents to join in warmly welcoming the international athletes with smiles and hospitality.
